We did Upper Dolpo Trek in Nepal this may, exiting in Phoksundo lake. Satori Adventures provided us with applicable service of airport transfers, permits issuing and guide service on the trek. They helped us with itinerary planning, flight tickets and lodging in Kathmandu in the lovely hotel.
For me selecting a guide/logistics provider for my Everest climb was a big decision. I spent lot of time shopping around and asking ton of questions to company such as Satori and even friends who had climbed Everest in past. Mr Rishi the owner has had an open communication from the very first email I sent him and had answered every single question. He is hands on and gives lot of importance on climbers safety and their needs. Takes good care while you are in Kathmandu!
Satori also has a very very strong Sherpa team, their experience, expertise and decision making is absolutely amazing. Kitchen staff and Head chef took great care while at base camp, made amazing food, I actually ended up gaining weight through out this expedition, which is rare, climbers normally loose around 10-15kgs. One of the climbers on my team required immediate helicopter evacuation from Camp two. With help of lead Sherpa and Rishi we were able to get her evacuated within hours and possibly saving her life.
Base camp facilities were great and super comfortable, with personal tents, clean toilet tents, on-demand hot showers, well stocked dinning tents with various snacks, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, solar and gas generated power supply. I wish Satori had dome tent for lounging like most other teams but besides that there was no real complaints. Everyone from the Porters to Kitchen Staff to Sherpa team to the owner himself, they all went above and beyond to make this expedition memorable.I was able to safely and successfully climb Lobuche East, Everest and Lhotse with Satori in Spring 2022. I strongly recommend them for Treks and climbs in Nepal.

I've just returned from an incredible experience climbing Chulu Far East and trekking the Annapurna circuit with Satori. I can t speak highly enough of Rishi and his team at Satori - everything was perfect, from the first email I sent to our last dinner in Kathmandu. Rishi himself is one of the warmest, most kind heated and hard working people I have ever met. He looked after me from start to finish, ensuring my climb ran smoothly even when he wasn t there. He provided full assistance and advice when the climbing conditions changed due to bad weather. Other clients I dined with in Kathmandu confirmed he d done the same with them. When my trek had to finish early due to illness he let me stay in his (beautiful) hotel in Kathmandu, assisted me in getting medical help and stayed in touch with me until I left Nepal. My climbing guide Ongchhu was incredibly professional and experienced, having climbing Everest 3 times (and pretty much every mountain in Nepal!). Not only this but he was, as were my two porters, lovely (and hilarious) company. They felt like close family for the 2 and a half weeks I was with them. I now consider all four of them dear friends and can t wait to return to Nepal to climb with Satori again. I put my full trust in Satori and they delivered beyond I ever expected... Another incredible expedition from Satori!
I’ve been using these guys for years and they never fail to impress. Everything ran perfectly. The food at base camp and above was delicious and plentiful. All of the equipment used was of the best quality. Our tents at base camp were enormous with enough room to stand up and walk around in. The Sherpa team are top notch and extremely experienced.
One of the reasons I initially started to use Satori is that the accommodate my vegan diet perfectly and this trip was no exception.
Safety is also of the upmost importance. Not only did we have at least a 1:1 Sherpa support but there was also additional Sherpas on the summit push with additional oxygen ready for any emergency situations, something that not many other companies do. The weather updates we were getting throughout the whole trip were very accurate and seemed to be more reliable than other teams. The owner is also a lovely guy and puts client safety/satisfaction above everything else.

I have known about Satori since 2016 and finally signed up for this years everest expedition. Dan and Rishi are the best to work with on all aspects of the climb of this magnitude. This company has great leaders along with all the staff they hire from the Sherpas to cooks , base camp accommodations, n helpers you name it they got it covered. I was part of the Satori Everest/Lhotse Expedition for 2018 and joining Satori was one of the best decisions I made. I was there for 6 weeks and every facet of the expedition was well planned and taken care of by Satori. Climbing Everest is a huge logistical exercise and with Satori everything ran like clockwork. Very smooth and organized expedition. The Sherpas at Satori are vastly experienced and Mingma and Phurba and Dawa and everyone else were great. They were patient and took the time and energy to guide/educate me on the expedition. The base camp experience was a lot better because of Satori and the ground staff and the crew they hired. Absolutely awesome. They delivered everything they promised and some more on top of that. The owner Rishi is attentive and great and stayed in constant touch throughout the expedition and made sure all my needs were met. I would go with Satori again and they sure were the right company for my needs.
There were 10 other climbers besides me on this expedition to Mt Everest and Lhotse and every one of them submitted. There could be no better proof of the efficiency and competence of Satori that they were able to take everyone that signed up to the summit. Highly recommended.

Rishi and Satori adventures provided every single thing from the above list, and they went above and beyond all expectations. 5 out 5 (i.e. 100%) members made it to the top of Mt. Lhotse and made it back down safe and sound. A big part of this success is due to the Satori adventures' team and organization both on and off the mountain. We participated in a mountaineering expedition to Mt. Lhotse (Fifth highest mountain in the world) arranged by Satori Adventures. The trip started with completing the Everest Base camp trek to Lobuche village, and climb Lobuche east as a training and acclimatization before reaching at Lhotse Base camp. We got 100% successful in our team. Summit from our team, but I had to turn around 300 meters before the summit. This is my last 8000M Mountain expedition which I climbed in age of 79 years safe and successfully.
Satori arranged all of the logistics of the trip excellently. As always, some occasional adjustments to the trekking plan had to be made, and my guides Mr. Peama Sherpa handled the arrangements promptly. I have climbed eight, 8000M Mountain with Satori adventures. I climb Mount. Everest, Mount Makalu, Mount Kanchanjungha, Mount Annapurna, Mount K2, Mount Cho-Oyu, Mount Shishapangma and Mount Manaslu after i retired age of 70 years. All my expedition was operated by Mr. Rishi Bhandari the Owner of Satori adventures and climbing Sherpa guide Mr. Pema sherpa. I have climbed all mountains safe and successfully except i fail to summit Makalu in 2015 first time because of Earthquake and need to return again in 2016 for successful summit.
All the base camp and high camp arrangements was very comfortable, featuring a dining tent, a cooking tent, and a shower tent. Unlimited tea and snacks was available in the dining tent at all times. The three daily meals were prepared by a very skilled cook, and the menu was varying food. Almost new three-person tents were used for accommodation.
I had ordered a full service package all the mountains and personal climbing sherpa guide. The Sherpa guides carried up the food to the high camps, and even my personal items. In the high camps the Sherpas supplied us with boiled water and were otherwise also very helpful. We planned the summit push with our sherpas, who set a personalized summit schedule for our group. Many of the Sherpa guides knew English pretty well, and some of them even told that they were taking English courses during their free months.
All in all, Satori Adventures had very convincing logistics for all my 8000m expedition. This is the main reason i returned again and again with them and summit my entire planned mountain safe and successfully. I would recommend all the mountain lovers to contact Mr. Rishi and Satori adventures to make your dreams comes true.

I started sharing information and email with Satori adventures two years ago. I knew the value of money. When I bought my package, there were only 3 people conformed, but Rishi said that I would take less money if we had 5-6 members on the team. I spent 3 months in Nepal skiing an 8000m peak, trail running some of the popular circuits and trekking on the side. Logistics for my trip were incredibly complicated and I was very independent. However, much help was needed from Rishi and his team to ensure I was comfortable, safe and on the right track. I was very happy to use the services of Satori in my first 8000m Expedition. I went through a 2 year research and communication before choosing Satori and its founder Rishi. And it was totally worth it. I received exceptional service at a fair price. The team is very experienced and proficient which is of paramount importance to be able to reach the summit of an 8-thousander. This was the first time attempting an 8K summit. Apart from the long preparation to it, physical and mental, the month passed on the mountain was out of this world, spending time with other national teams, side to side was a big challenge but at the same time a huge excitement. Satori team have made this period unique, from the day to day activities to all the comforts along the trip (trust me is not easy when you stay for a long time above 4500m. The entire team was friendly and spending time with them was also helpful for the mental state. Now is time to prepare for the next challenge, of course with Satori....stay tuned.

This was my second trip with Satori, this time to summit Mera Peak. From the very beginning I felt I was in knowledgeable and experienced hands. Rishi‘s communication was quick and his suggestions enriched our tour very much.
The two Sherpa - Rinzee and Lakpa - were very seasoned and had a couple of 8000ers under their belt. Nevertheless they brought a lot of cracking jokes to our little group, choosing excellent lodges and making the whole trip very pleasant.
I am looking forward to booking my next tour with Rishi and Satori the coming year!

After an impressive Annapurna Circuit Trek with a side visit to Tilicho Lake that my daughter and I enjoyed four years ago (also organized by Satori Adventures) my next dream was to experience Manaslu Trek.
Rishi and his company provided an excellent guide for Manaslu Trek, Mr M.B.T. Magar, a highly experienced, and one of the most helpful guides I ever met. Despite general time limitations (12 days for trek), uncertain weather, and trekker's tendency to stop often, presumably for photo taking, the trek was an absolute success culminating with the passage of Larkya-La.

I made in the beginning of March 2017 the Everest trek in eleven days and with one guide who was very kindly and cool, but also very slow and weak and he was a smoker, what is for me the opposide of hiking...
And I did the small Annapurna trek in 4 days (over Poonhill) with a other guide, but with him was it excactly same, like with the first one...
And I did also a Safari in Chitwan, that was very cool to see and do.
Everything I got with the Satori agency, who is very reliable, friendly and in compared not to expensive.
Conclusion:
The Satori Company made good and reliable job, but they gave me unfortunately to weak mountain guides.

This was my third time travelling with Satori Adventures. This time we spent just a few days in Kathmandu and almost two weeks in the magnificent Land of The Thunder Dragon, Bhutan. This was my first time using Satori and what a faultless experience it was. Everything was very well organised. The Sherpas were amazing with a huge amount of experience between them. The food was great, they managed to cater for my vegan diet extremely well. All the equipment was of a very high standard. They are very passionate about improving their service as much as they can and when asked for feedback I couldn't think of a single thing I'd change. Looking forward to the next trip already!

My friend and I went on a 2 week adventure on the annapurna circuit in nepal. We had the best time with Satori Adventure. They helped us plan our trip and answered all of are questions before the trip (very fast on responding). When we first arrived in Kathmandu, not only the plane was late but the air compagnie had lost our luggages. All of Satori's team was there to help us, they were very patient, they did everything they could to try to locate our luggages before our trip the next day. Unfortunatly, the luggage did not came on time. Santori adventure lend us everything we needed and went with us shopping :) They were so helpfull, we did even had time to stress. On top of that, our guide and porter were the best. We were always laughing, they were very helpfull, always making sure we didnt miss anything. The trip was a SUCCESS. When we came back our luggage was waiting for us. The client service and professionalism was at is best. We highly recommend Satori Adventure and cant wait to book our next trip with them to do the EBC.

I'm so happy I choose Satori Adventure to my trekking to EBC. Everything was so well organised. They were waiting for me at the airport, took me the hotel, i always got proper information what is the next checkpoint. They arranged everything. On the hike they were taking care of us (especially the altitude sickness topic) so we felt ourself in 100% safe. We were served maximally. Our flight was cancel from Lukla to Kathmandu (cloudy weather), but with the Satori help they arranged me helicopter flight to take me down. I can't imagine how i could arrange it without their help (I organised several trip for me, but here in Nepal it's harder). They provided sleeping bag, duffel bag ... everything was perfect. Two of my best friends and I trekked to Everest Base Camp in late September - early October of 2017. Everything, from start to finish, was impeccable. Rishi puts his heart and soul into his business, and stops at nothing to make sure everyone is safe and happy. Since this trip was a life dream of mine, I was the point person amongst my friends to book everything. I chose Satori since Rishi answered my (literally) ENDLESS questions promptly, patiently, and thoroughly. I can't stress enough how thoughtful he was: he emailed back and forth with me for months before I even booked anything with his company, placating all my fears and getting me really excited about the trip. So when the time came to select a trekking company, the choice was easy: Satori.
From the moment we arrived in Nepal, we were all blown away by the kindness of everyone around us. I've been to many countries and there's something indefinable and special about Nepal.
Rishi picked us up from the airport at midnight, putting scarves around our necks. From there, we were dropped off at the hotel that he owns, The Garden Hotel. The accommodations were nicer than we expected, and the staff was very attentive and polite.
We met our guide, Ganga, and after a couple nights in Kathmandu we took off for the Everest region. Satori booked our plane tickets and our flight was only delayed by an hour or so - which is insanely lucky, considering the fact that it's not uncommon for flights to be delayed for days at a time due to bad weather. I was VERY nervous about the flight in such a tiny plane, but there was no turbulence at all, just beautiful views of the Himalayas, and a smooth landing into Lukla.
We hit it off with our guide almost immediately - we couldn't have asked for better support. He answered all of our questions, goofed around with us, and gave us encouragement when we needed it most - I would not have made it up Kala Pattar without him. Our porters were also insanely helpful - we would not have made it up there without them, either.
Ganga organized all the logistics for us, making the trek a seamless experience. The Everest region doesn't have roads, and the trail winds through the Khumbu River Valley as you hike through villages. It was so cool to walk through all those villages, see and talk to the local people, and get a feel for the country. I hike in most places I travel, but I've never had an experience like this before, and I can't recommend it enough. There's also something to be said for hiking all day and then eating a hot dinner, taking a shower, and sleeping in a bed. And, to top it all off, we didn't have to worry about bills or bookings - Ganga handled everything.That's pretty much heaven to me.
One of my friends got sick during the trip, and we were all worried it was altitude sickness. Luckily, it was just a stomach bug, and Ganga took us to the local doctor where she got meds and was as good as new in a couple days. Satori gives 2 acclimatization days in their standard EBC trek, but we paid for an extra one since we wanted a cushion. This ended up being vital to our success, since we needed that rest day for my friend to recover. My other friend and I were also happy we had a rest day, since the trek is pretty hard and it's nice to have a day to read, lounge, do yoga, etc. If you have the time and it's in your budget to do so, I recommend having an extra day during your trek. You can always push on if you don't feel like you need it, and then you just have one more free day in Nepal after your trip, which is a win win.
Before I move to the next section of our trip, I want to sing the praises of Ganga one last time. When we were hiking up Kala Patar, I was struggling a lot. There were many moments when I didn't think I'd be able to make it up - I was having a lot of trouble breathing (I have asthma, so I suffer more from shortness of breath at high altitude). Ganga saw me clearly in pain and offered to take my backpack, which I gratefully gave to him. Without him carrying that weight for me, there is no way I would have made it up the last mile. None. He also ended up carrying one of my friend's backpacks as well, and he is the reason we all had the most magical moment of my life: seeing the sun rise over Everest, on a clear beautiful day. I printed and hung one of the photos that we took at sunrise, and look at it every day to remind me of that moment.
Since we had no weather delays, we ended up having a good chunk of time left in Nepal after our trek. Rishi booked an amazing trip to Pokhara for us, really spoiling us by taking care of every detail, no matter how small. We got a tour through the city, and even went paragliding! It was such a fun experience, and we all had an amazing time kicking back and relaxing after the strenuous trek.
I don't think it's possible to have had a better experience, and I can't recommend Satori enough. I am the kind of person who likes to research a topic to death, as a means of placating my anxiety, and I felt 100% safe and happy with Rishi and Satori. Thank you Satori for helping me accomplish my life dream of touching the mountain that has inspired women and men for centuries. I still can't believe I went there, and will treasure the memories forever!

I used satori adventure for my trip to Lobuche east summit.
It was my first peak climb and I felt like I was in good hands from the beginning. Logistically everything was excellent and went on smoothly without any problems. Rishi, the CO of the company, is very caring and made sure that I felt welcome even before I landed in Nepal!
They were very flexible with the Initiary, making sure that I was happy with the layup for the trip, always answered all my questions within a day and kept me well informed.
Even though I stayed in the country more than a week after I came back from Khumbu and theoretically wasn't "with" the company anymore Rishi made sure that I was doing good and had a place to stay when coming back to Kathmandu after a short trip to south Nepal.
I can warmly recommend satori adventure based on my own experience, trekking and mountaineering with them. I will also use them again for future expeditions in Nepal!

i usually trek completely independently, the time my father was joining me and i wanted some support just incase .
I was initially hesitant to hire a agency fearing flexibility but Rishi is extremely professional and flexible, i started enquiring about just a porter service and ended up booking the end to end package from KTM landing to departure with them and it was arranged as per my itinerary.The staff arranged to accompany us were very helpful as well .

I cannot give enough praise for Satori Adventures.
Rishi is an absolutely incredible host and guide, and now friend! He was extremely helpful in responding to our million questions before the trip. My friends and I like to be very prepared and Rishi thoughtfully and promptly responded to every question we had, whether small or big. He made us feel calm and ready for our trek to Everest Base Camp, and was more than willing to accommodate our request for an extra acclimatization day built into our itinerary. We couldn’t wait to meet him.
Upon arrival to Nepal, Rishi greeted us personally at the airport and immediately made us feel right at home. He took us to the hotel that he owns – the Kathmandu Garden Hotel – which is quite luxurious (air conditioning that works extremely well; crisp, clean sheets; and a clean bathroom). The following day we met our guide for the trip – Ganga – and he brought us around Thamel to pick up a few last-minute supplies and showed us some awesome cultural sites in the city, including the monkey temple and the great Buddha Stupa.
The next day we were picked up bright and early and we started our trek. Again, all the details of our transport and other logistics were taken care of seamlessly by Rishi, which was true of our entire stay in Nepal.
Our entire trek went off without a hitch – all thanks to the careful organization and attentive care by Rishi, the friendly and competent guidance by Ganga, and the strength and tenacity of our porters. We chose the mid-level accommodations, and they were generally wonderful. We got private rooms in every hotel along the trail, and private restrooms in most. We also were extremely grateful to have Ganga as our guide – he was patient, knowledgeable, and very goofy – just like me and my friends.
After our trek was over, we had a few extra days before we had to fly home, so Rishi organized a last-minute trip to Pokhara. We had a blast taking a tour of the city, visiting the World Peace Pagoda, and paragliding (!). Rishi organized everything for us including stay and travel to and from, so everything was a breeze.
Traveling with Satori is the way to go when trekking in the Himalayas – for a reasonable and fair price, you get treated with the utmost care and respect, every last detail is thought through and taken care of, and you will be safe and happy throughout your entire trip! I made in the beginning of March 2017 the Everest trek in eleven days and with one guide who was very kindly and cool, but also very slow and weak and he was a smoker, what is for me the opposide of hiking...
And I did the small Annapurna trek in 4 days (over Poonhill) with a other guide, but with him was it excactly same, like with the first one...
And I did also a Safari in Chitwan, that was very cool to see and do.
Everything I got with the Satori agency, who is very reliable, friendly and in compared not to expensive.
Conclusion:
The Satori Company made good and reliable job, but they gave me unfortunately to weak mountain guides.
After an impressive Annapurna Circuit Trek with a side visit to Tilicho Lake that my daughter and I enjoyed four years ago (also organized by Satori Adventures) my next dream was to experience Manaslu Trek.
Rishi and his company provided an excellent guide for Manaslu Trek, Mr M.B.T. Magar, a highly experienced, and one of the most helpful guides I ever met. Despite general time limitations (12 days for trek), uncertain weather, and trekker's tendency to stop often, presumably for photo taking, the trek was an absolute success culminating with the passage of Larkya-La.
Very good arrangement and facilities. The food options were superb. I will definitely book more expeditions with Satori.
My friend and I went to ABC with Satori on the end of March. I really had a wonderful trip. Satori teams and Rishi took care of us very nicely. Our guide is one of the kindest person that we have met. Also, he was an experienced guide which I have learn a lot about Nepal from him. Our porter was very lively and fun person. He taught us how to play Nepali cards which made us very relaxed after a long walking day. If you are thinking about trekking in Nepal, I cannot say more than " Don't hesitate to go with Satori".
We did Annapurna base camp trek with Satori company on 22-31 March 2017. It was wonderful trip ever! This was my first trek in Nepal and I had a very great experience there. I had spoken to some friends who had already trekked and climbed with Satori Adventures. They had nothing but good things to say about their experiences and the company Managing Director Rishi Bandhari. I decided to book my own trek and climb of Mera Peak. As it turned out, the people who were supposed to be part of my group upon arrival in Kathmandu cancelled their trip last minute do to serious health complications. This was totally beyond the control of Rishi Bhandari and his excellent team at Satori Adventures. Against my better judgement, I started the journey on my own and after a few days on the mountain with my "private" guide and porter, I decided to come back down and abandon my journey. My trip could have ended very badly but it was not the case. Rishi proposed a new trip agenda that would allow me to see other parts of the country including the Chitwan National Park and also visit Pokhara and do some nice trekking on the start of the Annapurna Trail. I didn't end up on the top of Mera Peak as originally planned but my trip was a great success nonetheless. The people at Satori Adventures are amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip through them or highly recommend this company to friends and people who may be looking for a great company to organize their next trip or adventure.

I had been to climb Naya Kanga mountain in the Langregion 4 years ago with Satori so decided to use them again for This climb. Everything was organised perfectly and even managed to spend a couple of nights at Everest Base camp after the climb hanging out with Everest climbers.
All in all an amazing experience and there really is no other trip quite like it

Satori took care of the organisation of our trip to Nepal from start to finish, so everything work perfectly, without any worries for us.
They picked us up from the airport, drove us to their hotel, which is nice and peaceful. They organized for us sightseeing trips, in which we were picked up directly from the hotel, guided around the sights, and brought back to the hotel. They also suggested some local restaurants were we could eat safe.
They drove us from the hotel to the airport, where our mountain guide was waiting for us. He took care or all the formalities in the airport, we didn't have to worry about anything, just enjoy. The trek on the mountain was amazing, and our mountain guide Sunil was really helpful, he took care of everything. He was especially helpful with the food, since we are vegan, and he made sure we always got vegan food. The porters were also helpful, carrying our big bags which allowed us to enjoy our trek more. Several times when we needed support on the trek both the mountain guide and some of the porters helped us out. When our trek was over, again the mountain guide took care of everything in the airport, and back in Kathmandu we were taken to the hotel. They took us to a lovely cultural dinner, a really nice place, with local music and dancing. A nice activity to round up our trip. In the end they drove us to the airport, and from there we went home.
So Satori took care of everything we ever needed on our trip in Nepal, and we just enjoyed our trip, having nothing to worry about.
They are serious and trust worthy.

Satori Adventures was the outfitters I chose for my EBC and Lobuche east expedition and i am really happy with the professionalism and the services they provided. Starting from arrival in Kathmandu to departure from Kathmandu, this team took care of everything. This was my first time in Nepal and first expedition in Himalayas, and Rishi and team made sure that my first trip to Himalayas becomes memorable.. I was very much impressed with the leader and main guide of the team Mingma Dai( Mingma Tenzing Sherpa), amazing personality with such a kind, calm and positive attitude. He was highly professional in his manners.He not even once got irritated with our frequent stupid questions on the trail and very patiently answered all the questions.Everyday he would inquire about our health and would take care of everything that we needed.Other team members were also great. Rinji and Mingma bahini took very good care of us on the trail. Anoop Dai was the awesomest cook at the high camp. Also he was my Sherpa who never left my side during the climb.Porters were amazing. They were the powerhouse of the team. I was amazed to see them carrying 50 kg effortlessly when I was huffing and puffing with my daypack.

We participated in the Everest base camp expedition from 15-24 th march from Kathmandu to EBC and back and it was an awesome experience. We had an excellent hospitality by Satori team including Leaders Kuntal Joisher who is an Everest climbed and Mingma Tenzi Sherpa another legend who had made sure that we are fed well and hydrated throughout the trip .

Nine of us embarked on this once in a life time trek with Satori Adventures Company. The trek was very well planned. The trek leader Kuntal Joisher & Mingma Tenzi Sherpa were the heroes of such a trip, difficult to find faults with them. Places chosen for stay ie. the Lodges & halts were excellent, so was the food available in those places. I would recommend this company because it takes care of planning leaving participants to enjoy hassle free treks. We were extremely impressed with Hiking professionalism with organising the trek and making the whole experience never to forget. Satori was also were very helpful in managing the last minute changes as well and getting us evacuted in chopper during snow storm. Guides and guiding companies are not all the same. The differences lie with the people and their attitudes. Being positive and passionate about their work and the success of their clients is what distinguishes one company from another. It was my personal experience, and what I heard from the others in my group, that sets Satori & Mr. Rishi apart. He made it his business to pay attention to the small things/arrangements that not only makes for a good trek trip, but can make the difference between success and failure. We did everest base camp trek in Nepal with Satori and had an amazing experience. Rishiji,the owner met us personally and took us for a pre as well as post trek dinner at an amazing Japanese restaurant. Bibek our guide and Sunam, our psuedo guide were super helpful throughout the trip and their energy levels were commendable even after a tough day trekking. Would definitely suggest Satori to anyone wanting to explore Nepal through its numerous treks.
We took a month long expedition to Nepal with my climbing partners. Main goal was climbing the majestic Ama Dablam. Rishi and the entire crew of the Satori adventure worked hard to make sure everything was going through smoothly from beginning to end; this entailed everything from permits, airport pick ups to treks, base camp services, climbs. We participated in a mountaineering expedition to mt. Ama Dablam arranged by Satori Adventures. The trip started with completing the Everest Basecamp trek to Gorakshep village, and hiking up Kala Patthar. As the second part of the trip we set to climb Ama Dablam. We got a successful summit from our team, but I had to turn around 300 meters before the summit.
Satori arranged all of the logistics of the trip excellently. As always, some occasional adjustments to the trekking plan had to be made, and our guides handled the arrangements promptly. We had also some mild cases of illness, but the Satori staff rearranged the schedule to let us recover.
The Ama Dablam Base Camp was the central stage in the mountaineering part of our trip. The basecamp was very comfortable, featuring a dining tent, a cooking tent, and a shower tent. Unlimited tea and snacks was available in the dining tent at all times. The three daily meals were prepared by a very skilled cook, and the menu was varying from chiken on a sizzling plate to local momos. Almost new three-person tents were used for accommodation.
We had ordered a full service package, so similar three-person tents were ready set up for us in the high camps. The Sherpa guides carried up the food to the high camps, and even a few of our personal items. In the high camps the Sherpas supplied us with boiled water and were otherwise also very helpful. We planned the summit push with our sherpas, who set a personalized summit schedule for our group.
Many of the Sherpa guides knew English pretty well, and some of them even told that they were taking English courses during their free months.
All in all, Satori Adventures had very convincing logistics for our expedition. The basecamp was very comfortable, and it was obvious that they put attention to detail when managing the expedition. Even while the Sherpas guide you along the entire route, I would still recommend that one knows the basic mountaineering techniques when going on an expedition like this.

Satori Adventures organise me and my friends Ama Dablam expedition in autumn 2016. We had good service from planning to end of the expedition and in addition Rishi reacted immediately to our inqueries while at the mountains. Sherpa team was young in general but very experienced. Camp service in basecamp and higher camps were exceptional and we had the best high altitude cook in our basecamp! Really enjoy my time with Satori Adventures and will highly recommend their trekking and expedition services.

We did a very nice trek last winter, reaching the Everest base camp, then crossing Cho-La pass and return from the valley of Gokyo. Rishi has planned everything very well, welcoming and greetings us like brothers. Our guide Pema sherpa, perfectly knew the territory, and also the customs, the mountains and local flora and fauna. Has always been kind to please our schedule changes, where possible, also visiting other destinations. Thanks to all the team of Satori Adventures! We hope to return soon!

A successful Everest expedition needs everything from an experienced and a strong Sherpa team, cooks, and other staff at the base camp, reliable and well tested equipment such as tents, ropes, high altitude stoves, wide variety of food selection inclusive of fresh vegetables, and fresh fruits, specialized high altitude food, good base camp facilities such as individual tents, clean and well maintained kitchen, dining, shower, and loo tents for the entire team and staff, brand new oxygen bottles, high quality summit masks and regulators for the climbers and Sherpa guides, a comfortable and luxury trek in and out of the base camp, and above all a strong ground operation in Kathmandu that takes care of all government formalities and paperwork, and is available to organize rescues incase of emergencies on the mountain.
Rishi and Satori adventures provided every single thing from the above list, and they went above and beyond all expectations. 6 out of 7 members made it to the top of Mt. Everest and made it back down alive. A big part of this success is due to the Satori adventures' team and organization both on and off the mountain. Rishi as the CEO of Satori adventures provided us full support throughout our Everest climb. Rishi understands how to run a big mountain expedition and deeply cares for the success and safety of all expedition members. Two of the climbers on my team required immediate helicopter evacuation from Camp two, and Rishi organized that without any delay.
If you are looking to climb Everest or any of the other 8000 meter mountains in Nepal or Tibet, I would highly recommend that you go with Satori adventures. And if you are looking to do any trekking or climbing a 6000 meter or a 7000 meter mountain I would again recommend to climb with Rishi and his team. I have now been on three 8000 meter mountain expeditions and one 6000 meter mountain expedition with Rishi and his team and I have no complaints at all. Every single aspect of the expedition is very well taken care of. Highly Highly Highly recommended!

Dan Nash and Daniela Liscio (Eat For Sport) prepared me well for the trek and Rishi Bhandari made a logistical nightmare look like a piece of cake. I actually traveled in May 2014 with Rishi's previous company, but he has since set up a new company alone, which I fully support. It was a truly unforgettable trip. Such wonderful people both in Kathmandu and in the mountains. My guide, Lakpa Sherpa, was extremely well qualified for my trek and had summited Everest twice, and almost a 3rd. My porter Subaz was also so lovely and extremely helpful.
My body didn't deal well with altitude towards the top but I was kept safe and the situation was managed extremely well, both by Lakpa at my side and by Rishi over the phone in Kathmandu. Rishi was excellent throughout the planning phase - helpful and quick responses to emails, and tailored a trek for what I wanted to see. The price was extremely reasonable too, and I much preferred paying a local Nepalese company to a UK (or otherwise) based company who are far more expensive and don't feed as much of the payment into the local community. It was one of my favourite trip ever - the people, culture and landscape were a true pleasure to whitness and be part of. My experience was so great that Rishi and I have remained friends since my visit 2 years ago.
It was a pleasure to deal with Satori, while planning and preparing for our two-weeks trip to Tibet. Communication was fast and efficient and covered any aspect. Every aspect of the trip was well arranged: flights, car, guide, accommodation. No hassles about changing prices, and in fact extra services at no cost.
Overall costs were highly competitive and much lower than woudl have been the case if the same trip would have been booked through a European agency.

A very pleasant visit to Gokyo-ri, minus the crowd. The organizer had arranged for me a very good English speaking guide, very experienced and familiar with the trek, also knowledgeable in Nepal's history and geography. He knows I like to see wild animals, and he would look out and alert me. So we spotted 3 really big mountain goats crossing the trail in front of us, took great pictures, and I really appreciate that!

I’ve travelled to Nepal twice. Once in 2011, when, along with friends from Canada and Romania, we trekked the wonderful Annapurna Circuit. Second time it was in 2013, when, with a small group of friends, we trekked to Everest Base Camp. I spent time for acclimatisation in Khumbu where I climbed Lobuche East 6119m before I departed to Annapurna 8091m which I succesfully climbed - after the expedition we departed quickly by helicopter and arrived very fast in kathmandu. My requests where all completly taken care of - it was a very nice experince - I felt I can trust this Company!

Hi All, Me and a big group of friends (15 pax) was trek to EBC via classic route across Chola Pass. Apart of the magnificent view along the long trail, I was impressive on our agency Satori Adventures. Head guide and all porters had delivered us their friendship, hospitality and even more. I had notice their well organize, professional way to solve either small to a serious problem until the whole group reach to our dram destination and trek along the way safely and happily. We participated in a mountaineering expedition to mt. Ama Dablam arranged by Satori Adventures. The trip started with completing the Everest Basecamp trek to Gorakshep village, and hiking up Kala Patthar. As the second part of the trip we set to climb Ama Dablam. We got a successful summit from our team, but I had to turn around 300 meters before the summit.
Satori arranged all of the logistics of the trip excellently. As always, some occasional adjustments to the trekking plan had to be made, and our guides handled the arrangements promptly. We had also some mild cases of illness, but the Satori staff rearranged the schedule to let us recover.
The Ama Dablam Base Camp was the central stage in the mountaineering part of our trip. The basecamp was very comfortable, featuring a dining tent, a cooking tent, and a shower tent. Unlimited tea and snacks was available in the dining tent at all times. The three daily meals were prepared by a very skilled cook, and the menu was varying from chiken on a sizzling plate to local momos. Almost new three-person tents were used for accommodation.
We had ordered a full service package, so similar three-person tents were ready set up for us in the high camps. The Sherpa guides carried up the food to the high camps, and even a few of our personal items. In the high camps the Sherpas supplied us with boiled water and were otherwise also very helpful. We planned the summit push with our sherpas, who set a personalized summit schedule for our group.
Many of the Sherpa guides knew English pretty well, and some of them even told that they were taking English courses during their free months.
All in all, Satori Adventures had very convincing logistics for our expedition. The basecamp was very comfortable, and it was obvious that they put attention to detail when managing the expedition. Even while the Sherpas guide you along the entire route, I would still recommend that one knows the basic mountaineering techniques when going on an expedition like this.
We climbed Himlung Himal few years ago at spring period. This mountain, more 7000 m is quite accessible. The major interest is the full trail . The "Phu" vallay is so nice and people are very friendly. After Phu, you are in the "wild" only with ibex. The advanced base camp is very nice to have a rest in a gorgeous landscape. When we climbed this mountain, there was only one other group which didn t succeed. With our team, we had to find the good way in big crevasses. There are no major danger (crevasses or avalanche). On short difficult passage is nearly 6000 m, there is a big crevasse. Above this part, there are regular and gentle slopes. Camp Nr 3 is approximatively 6400m. Don t under estimate the last day to reach the summit. It is not difficult, but a long way and the final slope is in good condition. From the top the view is extraordinary on Manaslu and Annapurna and Tibet. At spring season, you need to start from camp 3 at 2 or 3:00 am, because it is very usual that the clouds come at the end of the morning. I encourage all of you the climb this mountain with Satori and Rishi Bandari. His team is very professionnal and efficient. We did many trek and summit (like Mera Peak). This summit is realy appropriated for not experineced climbers. A good step before going higher and further on the more difficult summits. And top of all, the palce is wild and not crowded! I encourage everybody to do this ascent (with a little bit training before).

Rishi and Satori adventures provided every single thing from the above list, and they went above and beyond all expectations. 6 out of 7 members made it to the top of Mt. Everest and made it back down alive. A big part of this success is due to the Satori adventures' team and organization both on and off the mountain. Rishi as the CEO of Satori adventures provided us full support throughout our Everest climb. Rishi understands how to run a big mountain expedition and deeply cares for the success and safety of all expedition members. Two of the climbers on my team required immediate helicopter evacuation from Camp two, and Rishi organized that without any delay. If you are looking to climb Everest or any of the other 8000 meter mountains in Nepal or Tibet, I would highly recommend that you go with Satori adventures. And if you are looking to do any trekking or climbing a 6000 meter or a 7000 meter mountain I would again recommend to climb with Rishi and his team. I have now been on three 8000 meter mountain expeditions and one 6000 meter mountain expedition with Rishi and his team and I have no complaints at all. Every single aspect of the expedition is very well taken care of.

We had a great time on the EBC trek supported by Rishi and his team from Satori adventures. We had booked because of Rishi’s reputation as a great organizer and most welcoming host. He certainly lived up to this! We were very impressed by the trek crew who were cheerful and friendly and ran an excellent and tasty base camp on our climb. Point to note, trekkers summit of Lobuche East is actually about 5900m.

Satori Adventures was contracted by my climbing team in fall. I climbed and use Satori for my Service in Shishapangma, Everest Expedition and Yala and Naya Kanga peak. While we were in Nepal for a conference and wanted to organize a quick helicopter trip to Everest base Camp. The manager of Satori Adventures was Rishi who organized a heli trip with a very experienced heli crew up to Lukla, Hotel Everest View and to an advanced point near base camp. When we planned to Climb Lobuche East Peak in the Internet we found Satori Adventures. After arriving at Kathmandu Airport we have been welcomed by the representative of Satori Adventures. We transfer to the Hotel. During our climbing and trekking we had an Experienced and professional Climbing Sherpa as we expected and he do his best for us.Our porters took a good care of our duffle bags. Rishi, Managing director of Satori Advenutes was always answering t our multiple emails in a really fast time. Due to altitude sickness, we had to change our itinerary, and it hasn't been complicated at all.

While we are planning to go to Nepal for Classic trip, at that time we found the Satori Adventures. They guided us everything, enough to say that everything was great from the first till the last day.while there was delayed flights to /from Lukla at that time Rishi and his staffs arrange the Helicopter or the accommodation and equipment on the way, up to safety en route. Well, Rishi and his Team made sure that all this went well, and nothing was left unattended. What was especially important for me is that Rishi loves mountains and is an experienced trekker himself, plus, all what he promised and all what we agreed prior to the trip, was provided and taken care of respectively. "Kathmandu Mountain Biking Tour"
When I travel first time in Nepal, I was a little nervous about how the trip would all turn out. Whether the accommodation would be good, if my guide would be friendly, and the general logistics of the itinerary or not? When I met the driver in Airport he took me to the hotel, I felt comfortable and never felt the need to worry about what is going to happen next.
During the trek the guide was very knowledgeable and fun; he always makes me entertained for the trekking days with a smile on his face. The food was very tasty and I was always offered more at each of the night spots. They even took me and another person, who had just finished her 15 day trek, for a nice meal on my last night in Nepal to say thank you and to ask how everything went. The hotel that they put me up in for the first and last night was a nice welcome and a much needed cleanse for the respective days.
All in all, I would definitely recommend using Satori Advenutures as they will take care of eveything and do all they can to make it the best experience possible. I'm sure when I get some time off I'll be contacting Rishi for another adventure.

This is my third trek with Satori Adventures and a very eventful one as 2 of my friends required helicopter evacuation one day after another. Rishi the Managing Director flew in together with helicopter rescue to make sure that my friend was ok. On both occasions, the Helicopter arrived speedily and hospital admission and procedures were efficiently processed.
During the short lived trek, all of us were well looked after. The service cannot be faulted.
The guide Ganga and Rishi are no longer just service providers but welcoming friends - both very generous and big hearted.

Satori Adventures was the organizer of our Annapurna Circuit Trekking. We had heard that the Annapurna circuit had be ruined by the new road, but Satori Adventures managed to minimize the use of them and the views are still spectacular. We are glad we weren't put off from doing the Annapurna circuit. Our guide Krishna was fantastic, as was our porter Raj, they both helped make our holiday unforgettable. Krishna always found the great places to stay and eat. We were still in the mountains when the earth quake hit Nepal and Rishi did a good job of communicating with our families as we finished our holiday. It was a great holiday, a great trek with guys we will never forget.

Satori Adventures was an organizer of my first expedition on a mountain of 8000 meters and I was more satisfied than I expected. Rishi and was very professional and he was a great help in the organization. He answered clearly and quickly to all my questions throughout the preceding month of the expedition. Once visited Nepal, he was very dedicated to ensure the smooth running and success of our expedition.
As expedition leader, Rishi supported me in all of the procedures for obtaining the permit ascension allowed by the Ministry of Tourism. Regarding the team, all were sympatiques, dedicated and highly professional (Office staffs,Climbing Sherpa,Cook.). Mingma, the Sirdar of the expedition was exceptional for its expertise in mountain and its ability to manage logistics.
Regarding the food, we ate very well during the 35 days of the expedition, which was great for the morale of the whole team. No one in the team has been sick because of food even during the trek which is very important in the success of an expedition of this kind.
In fact, all the elements in place by Satori Adventures contributed to the success of our expedition. All team members have reached the summit. I am very pleased with my experience with Satori Adventures and I solicit again to organize a trekking expedition when I go back to Nepal, for sure!
