Gokyo is a small village located at the elevation of 4,750M/15,580ft in Khumbu Region in the Himalayas of Nepal. This valley is one of the highest settlements in Nepal and in the earth. Gokyo Lake is the highest freshwater lake system with Gokyo lake altitude around 5,357metrs in Sagarmatha Zone in north-eastern Nepal. As sources of fresh water it has high hydrological value. The sparkling and green waters of the Gokyo Lake are most memorable sights of Nepal. Ngozumpa glacier (36 Kilometers) is a longest glacier in the Himalayans originated by a stream coming from the Renjo-la pass (5,340m) from north-west. The Gokyo Lake is considered sacred by Hindu and Buddhist both. Hindus take bath during Janai Purnima festival in the month of August. The belief that birds and wildlife in the region should not be harmed has traditionally protected fauna.
As well as trekking to the six glacial fed Gokyo lakes trekkers can include a climb to the Gokyo Ri (5,400M), which is at the same altitude as Everest base camp. Trek to Gokyo involves walking through the Sherpa homeland of Namche Bazaar, ethnic villages of Khumung and Machhermo. Day 01:

Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and transfer to request category hotel accommodation in Kathmandu (1350m/4430ft.)

Day 02:

Flight from Kathmandu to lukla (2860m/9383ft.), Trek to Phakding (2610m/8563ft, 04-05hrs) lodge accommodation

Day 03:

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/1128ft, 06-07hrs), Lodge accommodation.

Day 04:

Acclimatization day, Hike to Everest view hotel (3800m/1246ft) for sunrise or panoramic view of Everest Lhotse face, after lunch explore Sherpa and Hilary museum at modern village of Namche.

Most of the trekking trail, lunch is done on the way between the starting and ending the day of hiking while dinner and breakfast at the tea house where you have your overnight stay. Kathmandu is Nepal's capital, and since this place offers high quality and delicious food from different countries and groups, we were hoping you could taste the food you like. For that reason, during your stay in Kathmandu, you will have to arrange lunch and dinner (except farewell dinner) yourself.
Suppose you want to take any packed food, snacks, aerated drinks, energy drinks, mineral water, and carbonated soft drinks, any types of alcohol, cigarettes, chocolates, and nutria-bars during the trek. In that case, you have to buy it yourself as a customer often requires these items during the trekking. No, and there is no guessing how much it will take by the client and its cost.
Expenses incurred towards usage of Items of personal nature trekking equipment, laundry expenses, tips, Landlines, mobiles, walkie-talkies, satellite phones, and the internet service exclude in the package. You have to pay for it yourself when you use it.
Trekking is, in itself, an adventurous activity that always takes place in remote areas. So, safety is the primary factor for us. Therefore, you have to have your travel insurance covering the cost of emergency rescue, medical treatment, medical tests, and hospitalization before you arrive for the trip to Nepal.
